Who are we?
In 2007, based off of direct feedback from the independent distributors of the Coors Brewing Company, DSI was founded to source and manage purchasing programs that leveraged the collective volume and industry-knowledge of Coors Distributors. The feedback from Coors Distributors on what was important to their distribution companies specifically allowed DSI to focus on the supplier relationships that mattered the most and resulted in better designed and more beneficial purchasing programs, for both the distributors and the preferred suppliers, we work with.
In 2008, the strength of the network grew with the joint venture between the Coors Brewing Company and SAB Miller; this JV increased the number of distributors participating in DSI’s programs and with added volume and more distributor input, the programs and relationships with preferred suppliers grew stronger.
From the success and value created for and by MillerCoors Distributors (now Molson Coors Distributors), DSI, over the years, has gradually and organically extended our scope to offer the same services to other networks of distributors/dealers, from different industries.
What do we do?
Distributors Solutions (DSI) works with select networks of distribution companies, to source and manage high-value purchasing programs, from over 50 carefully selected preferred suppliers.
From general commodities to capital equipment to high-level service items, by listening to distributor feedback, DSI has worked to set-up and maintain programs, from trusted suppliers, in the areas that create the most value for distributors.
By continuing to work closely with our networks and focusing on our founding goal of maximizing cost-savings for our distributor members, by providing efficiencies and volume-opportunities, to our preferred suppliers, DSI has been able to provide tangible, bottom-line affecting value, to our current network of over 3,700 independent companies.
